Online submission of industrial details in place

Kathmandu –The big, medium and small-scale industries being operated in the country now are required to submit industrial details through online mechanism. 

Following the discussion with the service recipients, the Department of Industry has put forward the idea of online submission of industrial information. 

With the online system in place, the industries have to submit the details including annual turnover and profit and loss in the stipulated formats. 

In line with the provision of the Industrial Business Act-2073 BS that the industries registered are obliged to make online submission of their annual transactions, the Department has urged the concerned users to apply the new system. 

Department's Spokesperson Durga Prasad Bhusal said, "The online submissions of industrial details will be available to the Central Bureau of Statistics which will be helpful to chart out future strategy on industry front". 

The Department has also specified a provision of penalizing industries for not abiding by the new practice. ---
