Sudurpashchim Women's Volleyball Team Suffers Crushing Defeat in PM Cup NVA League

Dhangadhi. The Sudurpashchim Province women's team has had a very disappointing start in the ongoing 10th PM Cup NVA Volleyball League in Kathmandu. In the match held on Sunday, Sudurpashchim suffered a defeat against New Diamond Youth Sports Club with a performance far weaker than expected.

New Diamond defeated Sudurpashchim by a massive margin of 25-9, 25-3, and 25-1. By scoring only 1 point in the third set of the match, Sudurpashchim set a humiliating record.

Meanwhile, regarding the team's poor performance, Sudurpashchim coach Lal Bahadur Batala has cited a lack of experience as the main reason. 'Our players felt some pressure while playing against senior and experienced players for the first time, which led to a poor performance. This is also a learning opportunity for us,' he said.

He has also expressed a commitment to improve in the remaining matches despite the weaknesses seen in the first game. Sudurpashchim still has 4 matches left in the league stage. 

Sudurpashchim now faces a major challenge to forget the poor result of the first match, make a strong comeback in the remaining games, and save their reputation.
