Actress Priyanka Karki supports Sudhan Gurung following his resignation as Home Minister

Kathmandu. Actress Priyanka Karki has stood in support of Sudhan Gurung, who resigned from his position as Home Minister. She expressed her support, stating that Gurung chose morality over his position.

Sharing her views on social media on Wednesday, Priyanka stated that choosing the path of morality without wavering, even during difficult times, is commendable.

Mentioning that media trials have created pressure, she wrote, 'It is always the people who do good work who have to face the most trials; history has shown this time and again.'

She has also demanded an impartial and thorough investigation into the allegations to uncover the truth. Praising Sudhan's capabilities, Priyanka stated that this situation is not an end but a new beginning.

'I am confident that you will win this battle and return even stronger. Nepal is yet to see the strength and vision within you, because Nepal needs you,' she mentioned. Gurung resigned from his post on Wednesday after being embroiled in a share controversy.
