Nepali Congress to Hold Parliamentary Party Leader Election on Baisakh 11

Kathmandu. The election for the Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader is scheduled for Baisakh 11. The election committee, led by Joint General Secretary Prakash Snehi Rasaili, is preparing to publish the election schedule today and conduct the voting on the 11th. 

Election committee member and Congress Central Committee member Muna Bhusal confirmed that they are working on publishing the schedule today and holding the election on the 11th.

'We will publish the schedule today, with the election set for the 11th,' Bhusal told Ratopati. 'The schedule will include discussions and the passing of the party's statute amendment on the 9th, followed by the election on the 11th.'

The Nepali Congress has 38 members in the House of Representatives. The party has faced criticism for failing to elect a parliamentary leader, unlike all other parties represented in the House. 

Leaders including Bhishmaraj Aangdembe and Arjun Narsingh KC are among the aspirants for the position of parliamentary party leader.
