Nepali Congress to Elect Parliamentary Party Leader on Baisakh 8

Kathmandu. The election to choose the parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress is scheduled for Tuesday, Baisakh 8. The Congress parliamentary party office, located at Singha Durbar, has sent SMS notifications to lawmakers, instructing those currently outside the valley to arrive in Kathmandu by Monday and requesting those within the valley not to leave.

The notice sent to the lawmakers states, 'As the NC parliamentary party election will be held on Baisakh 8, honorable members currently outside the Kathmandu Valley are requested to arrive by the 7th, and those within the valley are requested not to leave.' 

The Congress has 38 members in the House of Representatives.
