Three A-Division Clubs to Compete in 9th Bhojpur Mayor Gold Cup

Bhojpur. Three A-Division clubs are set to participate in the 9th edition of the Bhojpur Mayor Gold Cup. The District Football Association, the event organizer, announced that a total of 8 teams, including three A-Division clubs, will participate in the tournament starting on Baisakh 6 at the Bhojpur Stadium.

Pravin Suwal, President of the Bhojpur District Football Association, stated that the winner and runner-up of the tournament will receive cash prizes of 500,000 and 300,000 respectively. Awards have also been arranged for individual categories, including the best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper.

District Football Association General Secretary Tufan Kirat announced that the 8 participating teams include Satdobato Youth Club Lalitpur, Planning Boys United Kathmandu, A.X. City Morang, A.P.F. Football Club Kathmandu, Kepilasgadi Rural Municipality Khotang, Sankhuwasabha 11, The Gurkhas Football Club Udayapur, and the host District Football Association.

Safal Kirat, Vice President of the Koshi Province Football Association, mentioned that the Bhojpur Municipality has provided 3 million in support for the tournament, with the remaining funds to be raised from other sponsors.
