Traffic Police Apprehend Suspect with Stolen Motorcycle in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Traffic police have apprehended an individual red-handed in connection with the theft of a motorcycle that had gone missing from Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.

The owner had filed a complaint reporting the theft of a blue 250cc KTM Duke motorcycle, bearing the registration number Bagmati Province-02-054 Pa 6988, from the Ani Gumba area in Budhanilkantha Municipality-11. Acting on the report, a traffic police team deployed for the search operation recovered the motorcycle on the Purano Baneshwor road section on Saturday morning.

At the time of the arrest, the suspect had replaced the original license plate with the number Madhesh Province-01-003 Pa 4296. Upon inspection, the police confirmed the vehicle was stolen and took both the motorcycle and the rider into custody.

The Traffic Police Office stated that the suspect has been sent to the Boudha Police Circle for further investigation and legal action.
