Nawalpur residents urge Home Minister to address rhino deaths caused by water pollution

Kathmandu. Residents of Nawalpur have drawn the attention of Home Minister Sudan Gurung, alleging that rhinos are dying due to contaminated water. On Sunday, a team led by Nawalpur lawmaker Rajan Gautam submitted a memorandum to Home Minister Gurung.

Locals complain that toxic wastewater from various industries is being discharged into rivers, leading to the death of several wild animals that consume it. Home Minister Sudan Gurung has also conducted an inspection of the industrial area.
