CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Biplav Opposes Government Move to Dissolve Student Organizations

Kathmandu. General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav', has expressed his party's support for the protest programs organized by student organizations against the government's policy to dissolve them. 

Leader Biplav has also advised the student organizations to strengthen their movement and move forward. 

'This mindset of the government is an expression of autocratic tendencies. Student organizations are the carriers of awareness, vigilance, justice, rebellion, and progress,' Biplav wrote on social media on Sunday, 'Students have played a leading role in the downfall of all autocratic rulers in Nepal.'

Furthermore, he stated that if the government attempts to strangle the very institutions and forces that contributed to the current changes and the formation of the government, the government's own roots will be uprooted.
