Lumbini Chief Minister Acharya Emphasizes Local Resource Conservation for Economic Growth

Butwal. Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has stated that the conservation, promotion, and development of natural heritage will strengthen the local economy.

While inaugurating the Deuwar Kaji Temple constructed in Sisne Rural Municipality-6, Aala Bahundera (Rukumkot) of Rukum East, he emphasized that the protection of local resources is essential.

Chief Minister Acharya mentioned that the provincial government is committed to the overall development of Rukum East and informed that development projects are being prioritized and moved forward.

“There is still much work to be done, and all of it will be carried out in a planned manner,” he said.

He also added that the provincial government is formulating special plans to develop Rukum East as a tourist destination.
