RPP's Gyanendra Shahi addresses political dynamics in Parliament

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyanendra Shahi stated that he understands the constraints faced by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

While proposing his party's lawmaker Saraswati Tamang for the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shahi noted that he holds no grievances regarding the RSP's decision to withdraw its initial support for the candidacy.

'There are no complaints; I have learned and understood some things in this parliament. But remember, politics does not always flow at the same pace,' he said, adding, 'We understand your constraints.'

Asserting that the RPP will not be weakened, he stated that despite having no grievances against others, the party will continue to play its role from the opposition. While presenting the proposal, he remarked, 'The rest is up to your will.'

Supporting Shahi's proposal, RPP lawmakers Tahir Ali Bhat and Bharat Giri described it as an irony that the five RPP lawmakers are on one side while the rest are on the other.
