MP Yubraj Dulal Calls for Concrete Action to Support Nepal's Private Sector

Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party MP Yubraj Dulal stated that the private sector requires a concrete working environment rather than mere assurances and commitments. Speaking at an event organized by the private sector, MP Dulal emphasized that the private sector plays a crucial role in the country's prosperity.

He stressed that the upcoming budget should focus on how to incentivize them. MP Dulal noted that policy stability is the primary concern for industrialists and business owners. Clarifying the meaning of creating an environment, he stated that the state must focus on growing the size of the economy, increasing production, expanding the tax base, and discouraging imports.

He asserted that the state's main responsibility is to encourage domestic production and local entrepreneurs. Expressing sympathy for the challenges faced by the private sector, he mentioned that he is aware of the difficulties created by the geopolitical situation.

MP Dulal expressed his commitment to effectively raising the demands of the private sector in Parliament, acknowledging that their concerns are valid. He stated that he would advocate for the interests of the private sector and provide them with encouragement during the drafting and amendment of laws. He concluded that the country can only move forward through the encouragement of the private sector, the strengthening of the public sector, and the empowerment of all sectors.
