Nepal Electricity Authority to Provide Employment to Eight More Families of Gen-Z Movement Martyrs

Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to provide employment to family members of eight additional martyrs who lost their lives during the Gen-Z movement.

The decision was made during a board meeting held on Wednesday evening, chaired by the Chairman of the NEA Board of Directors and Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha.

According to the secretariat of Minister Shrestha, the decision to employ the eight remaining family members was made in accordance with point number 11 of the Procedure for Providing Relief to the Injured of the Gen-Z Movement 2082 and the provisions published in the Nepal Gazette (Volume 75, Additional Issue 32, Kartik 17, 2082).

The authority has already initiated the process of providing employment to 27 family members of martyrs previously. The eight individuals added today include Rojit Shrestha (Kathmandu), Ambika Bishwakarma (Udayapur), Sumitra Mahat (Sindhupalchok), Sheetal Paudel (Kathmandu), Mausam Kulung (Sankhuwasabha), Parbati Adhikari (Sarlahi), Hemanti Bista (Bajhang), and Manju Paudel (Lamjung).
