RSP MP Pathak Urges Government to Ensure Fertilizer Availability for Farmers

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Devraj Pathak has demanded that the government ensure that the shortage of chemical fertilizers during the farming season does not recur. He made this demand while speaking at Wednesday's meeting of the House of Representatives.

Stating that farmers are the providers of food for the nation, he emphasized that the situation where farmers have to plead for fertilizer during the planting season, as in the past, must not happen again. He said, 'Farmers are our food providers. The fate of having to beg for chemical fertilizers during the farming season, as in the past, should not be repeated. What preparations has the government made this year? Through the honorable Speaker, I would like to draw the government's attention to this.'

MP Pathak also urged the government, through the Speaker, to inform the House about the preparations made for the supply of fertilizers.
