Puja Chaudhary Elected Unopposed as Chair of Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee

Kathmandu. Puja Chaudhary has been elected unopposed as the Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee. The committee meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday elected Chaudhary, a lawmaker from JSP Nepal, as the committee chair.

The meeting was chaired by the committee's senior member, Gopal Kumar Basnet. Chairperson Basnet presented the sole proposal to elect lawmaker Chaudhary as the committee chair, which was passed unanimously.

Following her unanimous election, Chaudhary pledged to fulfill her responsibilities impartially, conducting necessary studies and research while remaining within the framework of the Constitution when drafting laws for the benefit of the country and its people. She stated that she would proceed with the committee's work through coordination and collaboration with everyone, free from any bias.

The committee also welcomed the newly elected lawmakers.
