Teachers and Parents Facilitate Cheating in Siraha SEE Exams via Social Media

Siraha. A new method of facilitating cheating in the SEE examinations by teachers and parents has been uncovered.

It has been found that students and exam invigilators inside the exam hall take photos of the question papers using mobile phones and send them to teachers and parents outside the exam center to leak the questions.

Answers are then prepared based on these questions and sent back to the students in the exam center via Viber or Messenger. A teacher stated that since the first day of the SEE exams, this method of leaking questions and sending answers via Viber and Messenger has been used at various exam centers in Siraha.

This method of cheating via mobile Viber and Messenger has been adopted at various exam centers in the district, including Golbazar, Mirchaiya, Lahan, Jamdaha, Choharwa, Siraha headquarters, and Phulbariya.

This year, 51 exam centers have been designated in Siraha. A total of 11,037 students are participating in the SEE examination, with 10,625 in the general stream and 412 in the technical stream. Among the examinees, there are 5,308 female students and 5,729 male students.
