Ramsharan Simkhada Appointed Head of NRNA's Philanthropy and Humanitarian Aid Department

Kathmandu. Vice President Ramsharan Simkhada has been appointed as the head of the Philanthropy and Humanitarian Aid (PHA) department of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). 

 This department will focus on four main pillars: 'One NCC One Project', 'One Province One Mobile Blood Bus', 'Disaster Management', and 'Earn and Education' (Child Education Project). Simkhada stated that these projects serve as the foundation for NRNA's humanitarian services. 

According to the department's structure, Simkhada will lead the 'One NCC One Project' initiative himself. This aims to engage National Coordination Councils (NCCs) worldwide in at least one concrete philanthropic activity in Nepal. 

Similarly, Simkhada will also lead the 'Earn and Education' project, which aims to support the education of underprivileged children.

Furthermore, the responsibility for the 'One Province One Mobile Blood Bus' project has been assigned to Dadiwal Khadka. This initiative will provide modern blood collection buses across all seven provinces of Nepal. Additionally, the 'Disaster Management' committee, which will remain active for immediate rescue and relief during natural disasters in Nepal, has been entrusted to Manoj Shrestha.

Simkhada stated that through this department, NRNA aims to make philanthropic work more organized, transparent, and effective. He also committed to working in a way that ensures comprehensive coverage and provides direct benefits to the community. The recent NRNA meeting had distributed departmental responsibilities among central office bearers.
