Nepali Congress Convenes Parliamentary Party Meeting Ahead of House Session

Kathmandu. The main opposition party, the Nepali Congress, has called a meeting of its parliamentary party. MP Mohan Acharya stated that the meeting has been scheduled for 11:30 AM at the party's office in Singha Durbar to discuss the first session of the House of Representatives. 

'The party meeting has been called for 11:30 AM,' MP Acharya told Ratopati, 'It has been called to discuss how to present ourselves in the first meeting.' 

The first meeting of the House of Representatives, elected from the polls concluded on Falgun 21, is sitting today at 2:00 PM. The party meeting will discuss how to approach the session, which will be held in the multipurpose hall of the under-construction Federal Parliament building in Singha Durbar. 

The program includes addresses by top party leaders on the occasion of the commencement of the session.
