Four suspects rob youth of iPhone in Kathmandu's Sukedhara

Kathmandu. Four robbers have stolen an iPhone from a youth in Sukedhara, Kathmandu. On 2082 Chaitra 15, at approximately 4:00 AM, four individuals on a motorcycle took advantage of the deserted streets to chase down and rob the victim. CCTV footage shows the incident occurred at 3:52 AM on March 29, 2026, corresponding to 2082 Chaitra 15.

SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, confirmed to Rato Pati that the victim has filed a complaint and an investigation is underway. The four suspects on a motorcycle chased the youth, who was heard shouting for help. With no one around to hear his cries on the empty road, two of the suspects jumped off the motorcycle, assaulted the victim, and fled with his iPhone.

The Maharajgunj Police Circle is investigating the suspects involved in the robbery. The victim has submitted a formal application to the Maharajgunj Circle requesting a thorough investigation into the incident.
