Tottenham Hotspur Prepares to Appoint Roberto De Zerbi as New Permanent Head Coach

London. English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has begun preparations to appoint Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi as their new permanent head coach. Tottenham is searching for a new manager after interim coach Igor Tudor left the club by mutual consent after just 44 days.

Although Tottenham had decided to remove Tudor a few days ago, the official announcement was only made after allowing him time to mourn the passing of his father.

Following a 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest last Sunday, Tottenham is only one point above the relegation zone, which led the club management to decide to end their association with Tudor. De Zerbi, who previously left Marseille, is currently not affiliated with any club.

Former Brighton manager De Zerbi has expressed interest in taking charge of Tottenham, but it is understood that he prefers to wait until the end of the season. It is reported that he will make a final decision only after Tottenham's place in the Premier League is secured.

Club CEO Vinai Venkatesham and Football Director Johan Lange are currently in discussions about whether De Zerbi can be brought in immediately. Supporters expect an improvement in Tottenham's declining performance if De Zerbi takes the reins during the current crisis situation.
