Landslide Blocks Key Highway Section in Sankhuwasabha, Nepal

Sankhuwasabha. Traffic has been obstructed on the Khandbari-Kimathanka road section, part of the Koshi Highway in Sankhuwasabha, due to a landslide at Bhotkhola.

District Police Deputy Superintendent Kumar Prasad Mainali stated that the road at Chhongrang in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4, on the North-South Koshi road section, was blocked after a landslide occurred.

Deputy Superintendent Mainali added that coordination is underway with the North-South Koshi Road Office and local levels to clear the landslide debris.
