Lebanon Reports 51 Aid and Health Workers Killed in Israeli Attacks Since March 2 Conflict Began

Beirut. Lebanon's Health Minister Rakan Nasser El Dine stated on Saturday that 46 aid workers and five health workers have been killed in Israeli attacks since the war with Hezbollah began on March 2.

Nasser El Dine told a press conference, "In about a month since the war began, 51 people have died, including 46 health aid workers and five health workers. Nine of those who died attained martyrdom on Saturday."

The nine medics killed in southern Lebanon on Saturday included four from Hezbollah's Islamic Health Committee, who were targeted in an Israeli strike during a rescue mission, and five who were serving with the 'Risala Scouts' of the Hezbollah-allied Amal movement when they were killed.
