Rasuwa –Two people were killed on the spot when a jeep they were travelling in met with an accident at Simbu area in north Rasuwa Tuesday evening.
Those killed in the accident are around 45-year-old Shivagunj Rajbansi of Morang and Bikas Gharti Magar, 24, of Dang district, the District Police Office, Rasuwa stated.
Gautam Aryal of Nawalparasi and Jeevan Rai of Dharan, Sunsari have sustained injuries in the incident. They have injuries in the head and limbs and have been taken to Kathmandu for treatment.
Rajbansi operated the dozer and Gharti Magar was a health assistant with the under- construction Sanjen Hydroelectricity Project here.
The accident took place at Aama Chhidimbo rural municipality-5. The jeep driver, Prakash Tamang of Dhading, is absconding after the accident. Police are searching for him and have started investigation into the incident.
