US Military Claims Iranian Revolutionary Guard Commander Killed in Israeli Airstrike

Kathmandu. The US military stated on Thursday that an Iranian Revolutionary Guard naval commander was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

"The death of the Iranian naval commander has made the entire Gulf region, including the Middle East, safer," said Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM).

He added, "Every Iranian serving in the IRGC navy should resign from their post and return home to avoid the further risk of unnecessary injury or death."

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump stated that the US military action against Iran succeeded in achieving its objectives ahead of schedule.

"We estimated it would take about four to six weeks to accomplish our mission. We have reached far beyond our set goals just twenty-six days after the conflict began," Trump said in his first cabinet meeting since the conflict started.
