Police Seize Three Vehicles Involved in Illegal River Material Excavation in Tanahun

Tanahun. Police have seized three vehicles caught in the act of illegally excavating and transporting river-based materials in Tanahun district.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Saranghat, impounded the vehicles today while they were illegally loading gravel in the Bagarkhola area of Bandipur Rural Municipality-6. Deputy Superintendent of Police Shrawan Kumar Bik of the District Police Office, Tanahun, informed that the seized vehicles include one JCB with license plate Lu 1 Ka 3241, one tipper with license plate Ga 1 Ka 5442, and another tipper with license plate Ga 1 Kha 7436.

He stated that the vehicles have been sent to the office of the Bandipur Rural Municipality for necessary action. The police also announced that monitoring to control illegal excavation and transportation will be further intensified.
