Iranian Media Reports Israeli-US Joint Strikes Targeting Gas Facilities After US Threat

Kathmandu. Iranian media reported on Tuesday that Israeli-American joint strikes targeted two Iranian gas facilities and pipelines within hours of a threat from the United States.

According to the Fars News Agency, the gas administration building in central Iran and the gas pressure regulation station on Kaveh Street in Isfahan were partially damaged. It was also reported that the gas pipeline of the Khorramshahr Power Plant in the southwest of the country was targeted in the attack. However, the local governor confirmed that the infrastructure is operating normally and there is no disruption to the gas supply.

Iranian media described the incident as 'part of the ongoing attack by the Zionist and American enemy,' Fars reported. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had threatened to attack energy infrastructure related to Iran, but suddenly changed his reaction on Monday, saying 'everything is going very well.' However, Iranian media noted that there was no indication of an end to the war or negotiations.

Experts are viewing this incident as an indication of regional tension and energy security risks. The US-Israeli move appears to be an attempt to maintain pressure on Iran's strategic gas supply and power plants.

According to sources, although the attack did not immediately disrupt the gas supply, the partial damage has created a situation requiring long-term maintenance and monitoring.
