Iran Rejects Trump's Claim of Positive Talks and Agreement on Key Issues

Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump's claim that positive talks and agreement on key points have been reached to end the war with Iran has been rejected by Iran.

Trump had stated that discussions were underway to resolve the conflict with Iran and that an attack on Iran's energy infrastructure had been postponed for five days.

Trump claimed that Iran was ready to abandon nuclear weapons and that talks progressed via phone call at their request. He stated, 'We have reached an agreement on almost all issues; if the talks are not successful, we will resume bombing.'

However, Iran's Foreign Ministry has refuted Trump's claim, calling it false. Iranian officials clarified that there has been no direct or indirect negotiation with the US.

Iran mentioned that there is no possibility of talks until its military objectives are met.
