Senior Democratic Lawmaker Accuses Trump of Losing Control in Iran Conflict

Washington D.C. A senior Democratic lawmaker in the United States has accused President Donald Trump of losing control in the war against Iran. Claiming that Trump is currently in a state of panic, Congressman Chris Murphy raised serious questions about the style of warfare being conducted.

Murphy, an influential member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, also stated that criticism is mounting as the joint military operation conducted by the US and Israel enters its fourth week. According to him, not only has this war failed to yield the expected results, but its impact is also beginning to affect the domestic economy of the United States.

Earlier, President Trump had warned Iran, threatening to completely destroy Iran's energy infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened. Murphy commented on this military action as Trump's 'mad war' and stated that the US economy is beginning to be negatively affected due to the sharp increase in fuel prices.
