US and Israel Allegedly Target Over 80,000 Civilian Sites in Iran Conflict, Violating International Law

Kathmandu. The United States and Israel have reportedly attacked over 80,000 civilian sites since the war against Iran began. During an address to foreign journalists, these attacks were accused of violating international humanitarian law.

According to available details, more than 20,000 of the attacked structures are in Tehran, while over 60,000 are in other locations. It is reported that approximately 18,790 commercial sites were attacked, 266 health institutions were affected, and 498 schools were targeted.

As a result of the attacks, 12 health workers died and more than 90 were injured. Additionally, hundreds of civilians, including children and 231 women, have lost their lives. According to various media outlets, the total death toll in the war is estimated to exceed 1,500.

On February 28, Israel and the United States jointly launched attacks on various cities in Iran, including Tehran, resulting in the reported deaths of high-ranking military officials and civilians, including former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei.

In response, Iran announced that it launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and US bases in the Middle East.
