Top IRGC Spokesman General Ali Mohammad Naeeni Killed in Airstrike

Tehran. General Ali Mohammad Naeeni, spokesman for Iran's powerful military organization, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed on Friday in a fierce airstrike. The IRGC confirmed the death of its top commander by issuing an official statement.

Just hours before his death, General Naeeni had claimed that a 'surprise' was ready for Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He warned that Iran's missile capability was at its peak and that the enemy would soon face its consequences.

In his final public address, he stated, 'Despite the war, Iran is continuously producing missiles, and we have secured sufficient reserves.' However, shortly after this statement was made public, his death in a joint US-Israeli attack was confirmed.

Iran has described this airstrike as a 'cowardly' act. According to Iranian officials, this attack is part of a larger international conspiracy to eliminate Iran's top military leadership.

General Ali Mohammad Naeeni was an influential strategist and spokesman for the IRGC. He was particularly known for his strong statements regarding Iran's military strategy and missile program.
