Trump Threatens to 'Completely Destroy' Iran's South Pars Gas Field Over Qatar Attack

Washington D.C. | US President Donald Trump has warned that he will completely destroy Iran's largest natural gas field, South Pars. Trump announced that the US will launch its most powerful strike yet if Iran continues its attacks on Qatar in retaliation for Israeli strikes.

Writing on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that Israel carried out a massive attack on Iran's South Pars gas field in anger over the ongoing events in West Asia. According to Trump, neither the US nor Qatar had any prior knowledge of this attack.

Trump expressed objection, claiming that Iran attacked Qatar's LNG gas center without understanding the reality and without reason. Trump stated that if Iran attacks an innocent party like Qatar again, the US alone will annihilate the South Pars gas field without Israel's consent or assistance. He warned that the US would retaliate with a power and capability Iran has never seen before.

Previously, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had accused the US and Israel of jointly targeting its oil and gas mines. Within hours of the Israeli strike, Iran launched a ballistic missile attack on Qatar's main energy hub, Ras Laffan Industrial City. According to Qatar's Ministry of Defense and QatarEnergy, the attack caused significant damage to the energy center.
