Oversized Executive Committee Announced Following Non-Resident Nepali Association's 12th General Convention

Kathmandu. An oversized executive committee has been announced following the 12th General Convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). It is stated that the jumbo executive committee was announced to accommodate all factions during the convention, which was called for unity.

According to the committee announcement made by the election committee at the NRNA secretariat late Tuesday night, Dr. Hemraj Sharma was unanimously elected as the President. Similarly, Robin Sherchan was elected as the Senior Vice President, while nearly two dozen Vice Presidents were elected, informed T.B. Karki, a member of the election committee.

Furthermore, Dr. Chiranjivi Khadka was unanimously elected as the General Secretary, with 6 Deputy General Secretaries and 12 Secretaries elected. Krishna Prasad Timalsina was elected as the Treasurer. Som Sapkota was elected as the Spokesperson. The event was attended by outgoing presidents Dr. Badri KC and Mahesh Shrestha, as well as former presidents RK Sharma, Binod Kunwar, among others. The 12th NRNA General Convention, which began on Saturday, concluded on Monday with the announcement of the new leadership.
