Rupandehi Police Seize Over NPR 1.1 Million in Contraband Goods

Devdaha. The District Police Office, Rupandehi, has seized illegal goods valued at over NPR 1.1 million. A police team confiscated goods worth approximately NPR 1,152,720 on Chaitra 1.

The information officer for the office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishnakumar Chand, stated that the goods, which were smuggled illegally evading customs duties, were brought under control during checks at various locations in the district.

The seized items include bananas with a pickup truck, grocery items with a motorcycle, broiler chickens, tobacco, Jolly Rolls chocolates, green capsicum, bags, Dragon incense, various kitchen utensils, firecrackers, fruits, and saplings of various types of flowers, among others.
