CPN-UML General Secretary Urges Party Cadres to Ignore Media Trials and Misinformation

Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has urged the party ranks to avoid falling for media trials and the misinformation being spread.

“The review work for the election results of all 165 constituencies has already begun,” he wrote on Facebook. “After this process is complete, a comprehensive review of the General Election 2082 will be conducted.”

General Secretary Pokhrel urged the entire party rank and file not to be swayed by the media trials being conducted in the names of party leaders and the misinformation being spread through some media outlets, which aim to weaken the party's internal unity.

Stating that our party has reached this point by facing past serious crises and challenges, he expressed determination that UML will move forward even stronger by facing the current challenges with resolve.

Emphasizing the need to re-establish the relationship and trust with the people, he claimed that UML will be successful if they work in unity.
