Salman Khan's Father Salim Khan Showing Improvement, Expected to Be Discharged Soon

Mumbai. Actor Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, is showing improvement in his health. The hospital stated that the 88-year-old Khan, who has been receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for the past 21 days, could be discharged within the next 3 to 4 days.

According to Bollywood media, Salim Khan is recovering rapidly. If his condition remains stable, he will be sent home by the end of this week.

Salim was admitted to the emergency room of Lilavati Hospital at 8:30 AM on February 17 after showing symptoms of a brain-related issue. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was kept in the ICU and on a ventilator for some time.

According to Dr. Jalil Parkar of the hospital, he underwent 'Digital Subtraction Angiography'. This is not a brain surgery but a modern technique to check for blockages and assess the condition of the brain's blood vessels.

Salim was born on November 24, 1935. He began his acting career in the 1960s with the film 'Baraat'. After acting in about two dozen films, he realized his interest lay more in writing than acting. Subsequently, he became known as a successful screenwriter in Bollywood.
