Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidate Sudhan Gurung Leads Vote Count in Gorkha-1 Constituency

Gorkha. In the ongoing counting of votes for the House of Representatives election in Gorkha Constituency Number 1, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sudhan Gurung has maintained the lead. According to the latest vote tally, Gurung has secured 4,654 votes.

His closest competitor, Nepali Congress candidate Prem Kumar Khatri, has received 4,576 votes. Gurung is ahead of Khatri by 78 votes.

Similarly, the candidate from the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Hari Raj Adhikari has obtained 2,375 votes, while the candidate from the CPN (UML) Ramchandra Lamichhane has received 813 votes.

Among other candidates, Jit Bahadur Ghale of the United Citizens Party received 99 votes, Ramkaji Rana Magar of Ujyalo Nepal Party received 65, Dev Bahadur Thapa of Mongol National Organization received 43, and Bishnu Prasad Rijal of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) received 22 votes.

Furthermore, Kedarmani Khanal of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 19 votes, Manu Kumari Shrestha of the Nepal Workers' and Peasants' Party received 6, and independent candidate Kavita Bhattarai received 3 votes. Akash Rana Magar of National Republic Nepal has not yet received any votes.
