Rastriya Swatantra Party's Bishwaraj Pokharel Elected to House of Representatives in Okhaldhunga

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Bishwaraj Pokharel has been elected as the member of the House of Representatives from Okhaldhunga.

RSP's Pokharel was elected by a narrow margin, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Kumar Luitel. However, the final results are yet to be officially announced. 

Pokharel secured 13,953 votes to be elected, while Luitel received only 13,948 votes. 

In third place, Nepali Communist Party's Ambir Babu Gurung garnered 11,296 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Asmita Thapa finished fourth with 10,720 votes.
