Defeated Candidate Rishi Dhimal Thanks Voters in Rautahat, Pledges Continued Service

Rautahat. Rishi Dhimal, who was defeated in Rautahat Constituency Number 4, has thanked the voters. In a video message following the vote count, he stated that despite the loss, he would always remain active in serving the people.

He congratulated Ganesh Paudel, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party who won from this constituency, and wished him success. Dhimal committed that even though he lost the election, he would not forget the people of Rautahat and would be dedicated to serving them 24 hours a day. 

Describing himself as a 'man of the ground,' he reiterated that his main agenda is free health and education for the poor and marginalized people. Dhimal mentioned that he had come to the Madhes region and stated that someone from the Madhes should become the Prime Minister, adding that this statement is now coming to fruition. 

Dhimal's Statement:

Voters of Rautahat 4, mothers, fathers, elder brothers, and sisters.

I highly respect the votes you gave me in this election, and I want to express my gratitude to you all. I will dedicate my entire life to solving the problems of the people of Rautahat 4. I will support you.

There are many poor and marginalized people. I have one agenda: radical change in health and education, making them free. Those without money must now be able to study and receive treatment; my campaign for this will continue.

The voters of Rautahat 4 have elected Ganesh Paudel, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party. I want to congratulate him and wish him success. I also want to tell him that there are many problems in Rautahat now; please be active in solving them, and you will have my support.

I came here to solve the problems of the people. Even though I lost the election, I will never forget the people here. I will be tirelessly dedicated to serving the people 24 hours a day. I will treat the sick, support the marginalized and poor people, and I will take the initiative for employment for the youth. I will also ensure that farmers receive seeds and fertilizer; I will leave no stone unturned in that regard.

I came to work for the people. I have maintained a mindset, contemplation, and positive outlook that I must work for the people throughout my life. Therefore, I will remain active again to solve the problems of the people of Rautahat. I will regard the people as gods. I am a man of the people. I am a man of the ground. I was born to serve the people.

Therefore, I came to Rautahat and understood many problems. I must respect the votes the people gave me out of love. I am grateful.

And today, a celebratory atmosphere prevails in the country. The Rastriya Swatantra Party is forming a government with nearly a two-thirds majority, and Balen Shah is becoming the Prime Minister. 

About 5-6 months ago, when I came to the Madhes land, I said that someone from the Madhes should become the Prime Minister. What I said has happened; Balen Shah is becoming the Prime Minister of this country. He has the support of a two-thirds majority.

Now, the country needs action against the corrupt, good governance, rapid development and construction, employment for the youth, keeping the people happy, and radical change. The people are in favor of change. The major parties did nothing. They ruined the country in 35 years, engaged in corruption, and brought misgovernance to the country. They did not provide employment to the youth; they sent them abroad.

That is why the people supported a new force, an alternative force, in this election. And the new government has a lot of work to do. I will meet Balen Shah after he becomes Prime Minister and present him with a point-by-point list of what the new government should do. But in the current situation, this government must do four or five things. 

One, action against the corrupt; those who suppressed the People's War movement must now be dealt with; provide good governance; and provide employment to the youth. And there is a problem in Rautahat. We do not have industries in our country. The country has not been able to advance in industrialization. And the Shree Ram Sugar Mill must be operated. My request to Balen Shah is to move that work forward after you become Prime Minister. Revitalize the closed industries in Madhes Province. And bring a wave of development to the country.

Make health and education free. The poor and marginalized people must now be able to study and receive treatment. A well-equipped hospital must be built in Rautahat, and I will offer my cooperation and support for that. And a medical college must be built. Let us move Rautahat forward as a district of potential. Let us bring overall development not just to Madhes Province but to the entire country. And now let us work for the people in the country. Jai Desh, Jai Janata, Jai Rautahat.
