Rastriya Swatantra Party's Ganesh Karki Wins Morang Constituency-2 Seat by Wide Margin in House of Representatives Election

Biratnagar. Krishna Kumar (Ganesh) Karki, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been elected by a significant margin in the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21 in Morang Constituency Number 2. According to the final vote count published by the Election Officer's Office, Karki secured a resounding victory by obtaining 40,924 votes.

He defeated his closest competitor, Dilip Kumar Agarwal of CPN-UML, by a margin of over 25,000 votes. Agarwal of CPN-UML received 15,624 votes.

Former minister and heavyweight leader Dr. Rijal was limited to third place this time. He received only 12,764 votes. Similarly, Abuho Raihar of the Shram Sanskriti Party, who was in the electoral contest, received 1,822 votes, and Chandraveer Rai of the Communist Party of Nepal received 1,366 votes.

Earlier, Sujata Koirala from the Congress party had also been defeated in this constituency.
