CPN-UML Leader Gokul Bista Congratulates Victor Govinda Panthee in Gulmi

Gulmi. CPN-UML leader and candidate for Gulmi Constituency No. 2, Gokul Bista, has congratulated the newly elected Govinda Panthee.

Immediately after the election results were announced, Bista issued a message on social media congratulating Panthee, the victorious candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and wished him success in his tenure.

Despite being defeated in the election, Bista pledged that he would always stand with the people. Taking the electoral loss as a natural process, he wrote, "A single election loss or victory does not significantly alter the long journey of societal change. I will continue to work with even greater resolve for economic and social transformation, social justice, and the interests of the nation and the people."

Although the results were not as expected, leader Bista urged the party ranks not to be disheartened. He appealed to all cadres to move forward with patience and high morale.

Bista thanked his colleagues who worked day and night during his election campaign and the voters who showed goodwill. He also expressed gratitude to the civil servants, security personnel, representatives of political parties, and journalists who played a role in ensuring the peaceful completion of the election.
