Nepali Congress Candidate Vishnu Bahadur Khadka Maintains Lead in Surkhet-1 Constituency

Surkhet. Nepali Congress candidate Bishnu Bahadur Khadka is consistently leading in Surkhet Constituency Number 1.

He is the brother of former Nepali Congress acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka. He is contesting the election vowing to protect his elder brother's legacy after Purna Bahadur left the field.

CPN-UML's Dhruv Kumar Shahi is trying to chase him but has not been able to catch up.

According to the latest public results, with 38,426 votes counted, Congress's Khadka is in the top position with 14,982 votes, while UML's Shahi has secured 10,325 votes. The difference in their votes is nearly 4,000.

Here, RSP's Tek Bahadur Singh is in third place with 8,729 votes, surpassing the CPN, while CPN's Jeet Bahadur Rana has received only 1,352 votes.
