All-Party Meeting Agrees on Procedures for House of Representatives Vote Counting in Gulmi

Kathmandu. An all-party meeting has reached an agreement to streamline the counting of votes for the House of Representatives election in Gulmi.

The meeting, held at the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, reached consensus on the vote counting process, criteria for ballot validity and invalidation, and representative management.

According to the decision, each candidate in the direct election category will receive passes for a maximum of six representatives, while independent candidates will be allowed a maximum of five representatives.

For the proportional representation category, although each party will be issued six passes, only one representative per party will be allowed inside the counting venue at any given time.
