Ballot Boxes from Remote Darchula Polling Stations Being Airlifted to Headquarters

Darchula. The process of bringing ballot boxes from some remote polling stations in Darchula for the House of Representatives election via helicopter to the district headquarters, Khalanga, is underway.

Ballot boxes from the Sitola, Patha, Siti, and Kshetti polling centers in Apihimal Rural Municipality are being transported to Khalanga by helicopter. It is also reported that ballot boxes from the Nagu area are currently being brought to Khalanga.

According to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, an all-party meeting will be held once the ballot boxes from all polling stations reach the headquarters. Preparations are being made to start the vote counting process after the meeting.

The Office of the Chief Returning Officer stated that the vote counting process will proceed by this afternoon once all ballot boxes have been collected.
