Tulsa Adhikari Case: Bail Hearing Concludes in Lalitpur District Court

Kathmandu. The three-day bail hearing in the case against Tulsa Adhikari in the bench of Lalitpur District Court Judge Teknath Gautam has concluded. Three government lawyers argued in response from the public prosecutor's side, while 8 lawyers argued from the defendant Adhikari's side.

With the conclusion of the bail hearing, the court will decide today whether to send Adhikari to jail or release her on bail. Defendant Adhikari was arrested from Thailand with the help of Interpol and brought to Kathmandu last Saturday night.

Cases of money laundering, criminal gains, and fraud were filed against Adhikari in the Lalitpur District Court.

Based on a complaint from a businessman, the District Public Prosecutor's Office Lalitpur filed a case against her in Chaitra 2082, demanding a principal amount of 6 crore 52 lakh 29 thousand. There are 10 defendants in this case, including Adhikari.
