Nepali Congress VP Sharma Accepts Voter Verdict in House Elections

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has stated that the verdict of the voters in the House of Representatives election is acceptable.

Vice President Sharma mentioned on the social media platform X that he will stand with and also keep a watchful eye on the country's fundamental issues.

He wrote on X, 'The voter's verdict is acceptable. Welcoming the CPN (Maoist Centre), which emerged from the bullet, and welcoming the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which is emerging from the ballot. From the perspective of the signs presented in 2079 BS, this is not unexpected. Excessive hope should not turn into another disappointment; there will be both support and vigilance regarding the country's fundamental questions.'

The initial trend of the counting of votes for the House of Representatives election held on Thursday shows a surge for the RSP.
