Nepal Student Union President Blames Gagan Thapa for Current Situation After Ignoring Advice

Kathmandu. Dujang Sherpa, President of the Nepal Student Union, stated that the current situation has arisen because Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa did not heed the suggestions he provided.

In a social media post on Facebook, President Sherpa mentioned that the situation occurred because less than 5 percent of the advice he gave during a meeting in Sarlahi was implemented.

“I gave you and your secretariats very important suggestions when I met you in Sarlahi. You showed no desire to implement even 5 percent of it,” Sherpa wrote.

Sherpa also mentioned that he gave advice that was ignored as if he had drunk poison. Connecting this, he stated that Balen Shah also drank poison and reached an agreement with Rabi Lamichhane, suggesting that this situation arose because he tried to move forward alone.

“Balen also drank poison and made a deal with Ravi. This is not a one-man show,” Sherpa wrote.

He made these remarks to President Thapa after his suggestions were ignored during the House of Representatives elections.
