Three petrol stations sealed in Mahendranagar

Mahendranagar, Dhanusa – Police have shut three petrol stations in Mahendranagar on the charge of creating artificial scarcity of petroleum products and overcharging customers. 

The petrol stations that faced action are Vi Oil at Zero Mile, Baba Petrol Pump at Mujeliya and Janakpur Diesel Centre. 

The shutdown follows a raid on Monday night by Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply Matrika Prasad Yadav following a news report about black marketeering of petroleum products in the area.
