Over 56% Voter Turnout Recorded in Mustang District

Pokhara. More than 56 percent of votes were cast in the Himalayan district of Mustang. Election Office Chief Lokendra Gyawali informed that 56.47 percent of votes were cast within the stipulated time.

According to him, voting was peaceful at all polling stations. He stated that a total of 6,397 votes were cast under the direct election category.

Of these, 3,226 were cast by men, 3,170 by women, and 1 person identifying as 'other' cast their vote. Gyawali added that preparations are underway to transport ballot boxes from all centers to the counting site following the conclusion of voting.
