Police Fire Warning Shots at Polling Center in Dolakha Amid Dispute

Kathmandu. Firing was reported at a polling center in Tamakoshi, Dolakha, following a dispute.

The District Administration Office, Dolakha, confirmed that police discharged warning shots to bring the situation under control, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Aulakh Bahadur Ale.

“After an attempt was made to assault an election official in Ward No. 4 of Tamakoshi, security personnel fired one or two warning shots,” stated Assistant Chief District Officer Ale, adding, “The situation has now normalized.”
