Two Leaders of CPN-Maoist Party Arrested in Morang for Boycotting Elections

Kathmandu. Krishna Prasad Chamlagai, Morang District In-charge, and Suman Paudel, District Secretary of the CPN-Maoist party, who decided to boycott the House of Representatives election, have been arrested. Morang Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Harinandan Chaudhary informed that they were arrested on Wednesday evening from Buddha Chowk in Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-6, Morang, by a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Pathari, after being found involved in anti-election activities.

The statement issued by Chaudhary mentioned that a motorcycle with registration number Ko 6 Pa 5116, five mobile phones of various companies, and the flag of the CPN-Maoist party were also recovered.
